Roach chain transfers convey heavy duty unit loads to 3000 lbs. at 90° intervals and often are suited for applications in tight quarters where room does not exist for large radius curves. Alba provides three types of standard chain transfers –In-Frame, Through-Frame and Frame-to-Frame. All standard chain transfers have a load capacity of up to 4,000 lbs. Transfers come standard with a welded, structural steel frame, continuously welded sprockets, scalloped chain guard and adjustable, heavy-duty supports. Transfer lift mechanism uses a four-point, positive lift activated by a pneumatic cylinder.

The Roach Model RBT3 provides an excellent method of transferring up to 100# product at 90° intervals. And, no drive is necessary when mounted into Roach line shaft driven conveyor. Each unit shown mounted in optional line shaft driven conveyor. Model at right includes optional frame cut-outs and blue paint.

Roach V-belt transfers are ideal for medium duty applications and are often used where product could be damaged by strands of chain on heavier duty chain transfers. Unit at left shown with frame cutout for use in belt driven live roller conveyor with 6” wide belting.
