Free Standing Jib Cranes are Gorbel’s most versatile crane and are best for heavy duty, high productivity applications. They are the perfect jib crane to place underneath large bridge cranes, in open areas where they can serve several work stations, in outdoor applications such as loading docks, or in machining and assembly operations where they can be overlapped with other jib cranes to provide staged operation.

Wall Bracket Jib Cranes are an economical, heavy duty solution. They contain a single tie rod, right hand threaded at both ends for easy boom adjustment and installation. These tie rod jibs are ideal for swinging around obstacles or under obstructions.

The Wall Cantilever Jib Crane provide hoist coverage and 200° rotation for individual use in bays, along walls or columns of plants, or as a supplement to an overhead crane or monorail system. This jib has the advantage of providing maximum lift for the hoist, since it can be installed very close to the underside of the lowest ceiling obstruction.

Mast Type Jib Cranes are floor supported, top stabilized, and capable of 360° rotation via a top and bottom bearing assembly. They are the most cost effective of the 360° rotation jib styles because their efficient design usually requires no special foundation.

We use direct chain and sprocket drives
for the accurate and easy positioning of
loads. These drives deliver positive traction,
eliminating slippage problems common to
some tractor-type drives or drives that power
roller assemblies. The direct chain and sprocket
design is also better for roller durability since
it is not directly driving the load-bearing roller
assemblies.

Aluminum Tie Rod Jib Cranes (AL100) are typically the most economical jib crane types, because they require only a tie rod instead of a full mast for support (Less steel = less cost). They contain a single tie rod, right hand threaded at both ends, for easy boom adjustment and installation. They use a lightweight, high strength extruded aluminum enclosed track boom. These tie rod jibs are ideal for swinging around obstacles or under obstructions.

Free Standing Work Station Jib Cranes (WSJ360) are Gorbel’s most versatile crane and are best for low capacity, high productivity applications. They are the perfect jib crane to place underneath large bridge cranes, in open areas where they can serve several work stations, in outdoor applications such as loading docks, or in machining and assembly operations where they can be overlapped with other jib cranes to provide staged operation.

The Free Standing Articulating Jib Crane is perfect for environments that would greatly benefit from an articulating jib, but lack the necessary walls or columns to mount the crane. This crane offers effortless rotation and a consistent responsiveness when positioning loads in a work cell, through open doorways, or into machines.

Portable Workstation Jib Cranes provide easy, ergonomic lifting and transfer of repetitive loads. They are small, nimble cranes that are faster than motorized jibs.
